Eligibility criteria for PhD admission

• Engineering

  • MTech/ME/MS/MSc in CS/IT/ECE or related areas.

OR

• • Undergraduate degree in relevant areas with at least two years of work experience.

• Sciences 

  • 1. 1. 1. 1. • MTech Material Science/Nano-Technology/Applied Optics/Engineering Physics/Scientific Computing or related areas

OR

• • 1. 1. 1. 1. • MSc (or equivalent) in Mathematics/Physics/Statistics/Electronics/Computer Science or related areas

OR

• • 1. 1. 1. 1. • Undergraduate degree in relevant areas with at least two years of work experience.

• • Humanities

  • MA/MPhil in Linguistics/ English or related areas.

The applicant may be an employee (regular / on contract) of a State/ Central Govt. Departments/ PSUs/ Educational Institutes/ Research organizations/ Industries (with a turnover of at least 2 crore) at the time of admission having at least one year experience in the discipline in which admission is sought. A No Objection Certificate from the Head of the Institute/Organization, in which he/she is employed, must be enclosed with the application.

Individuals with exceptional academic records meeting the essential educational qualifications and not employed may also be considered.
